Earn the NATIONAL PRINCIPAL CERTIFICATE FOR EQUITY AND EXCELLENCE
from The National Center for Urban School Transformation
& San Diego State University’s Global Campus
WHY?
HOW IS THIS PROGRAM UNIQUE?
This program is exclusively for current school leaders. The program prepares school leaders to apply for and earn NCUST’s National Principal Certificate for Equity and Excellence. To earn the certificate each candidate must demonstrate, through measurable evidence, that they have advanced equity and excellence in their school.
The program is based on research about effective school leadership and NCUST’s extensive study of the best practices of elementary, middle, and high schools that have achieved remarkable evidence of educational excellence and equity.
Courses will be led by an NCUST Executive Coach with experience supporting school leaders as they pursue excellence and equity.
Each course will include an opportunity to engage with school leaders who influenced the success of award-winning schools that have achieved remarkable results for every demographic group served.
Where participant flexibility is most beneficial, the program utilizes web-based features that allow leaders opportunities to access information when convenient. Where personal interaction is most beneficial, the program features person-to-person opportunities likely to promote professional growth.
To maximize impact, participating school leaders are encouraged to invite their district-level supervisor to enroll concurrently in the National Principal Supervisor Certificate for Equity and Excellence Program.
Each course will include an opportunity to engage with school leaders who influenced the success of award-winning schools that have achieved remarkable results for every demographic group served.
During each of the five courses, each participant will receive up to three one-on-one personalized video-coaching sessions with an NCUST Executive Coach.
Participants will benefit from the experience of the school leaders in their cohort.
