oral Academy Preparatory School, a public charter school, with specialty programs within its offerings, is part of the Miami Dade School District. Doral holds numerous distinguished awards for their outstanding achievement. Included in that list are the impressive Florida National Blue Ribbon Award, and the “Best High Schools in America Award,” by U.S. News and World Report. Doral’s staff has an attitude of, “We can always do better,” with continued, focused improvement at the forefront of all strategic planning despite their current off the chart state test results for all demographic groups of students. Students all express college as being their ultimate goal and they believe they will attend because of their own commitment and the dedication of their teachers, counselors, and administrators to provide the access to that goal.
