Homer Hanna Early College High School has infused new hope in students and their families by helping students learn that academic success is attainable.  While Hanna students face all of the challenges typically experienced by students in low-income communities, Hanna’s team of teachers, staff, and administrators has convinced students that they will support students through those challenges and help them succeed in college and/or productive careers.  In their Symposium session, Hanna leaders will explain the systems they have put in place to ensure that students will succeed in rigorous curricula.  They will emphasize what has happened to ensure that large numbers of students succeed in dual-enrollment courses, career and technical education, and other advanced courses.
