With STEM and VAPA focus areas, FCMS students are provided the opportunities to participate daily in electives that keep them excited about school, with choices like financial literacy, hydroponic farming, film editing and photography and theater and dance, to name a few. Students have weekly Mindlab experiences where they are able to connect their classroom learning to focused professional skills. Mindlab lessons are designed to expose students to realistic, investigative, artistic, social, enterprising and conventional experiences, with academic challenges grounded in State Standards.
